Database

There are a couple options for to solve our database problem.

1. port all database files to MS SQL
2. setup our own database server (I was thinking a minimal Linux + MySQL 4.1 on an older unused library computer)
3. see if another department will let us use their MySQL/Postres server (CSS)

There are pros and cons to all of these options. Which one do you think is best?
